Moreover, students will develop skills in data collection, statistical analysis, and scientific writing. By the end of this module, students will have produced a short-form research review using contemporary critical appraisal frameworks, a long-form literature review and research proposal for their Module 6 case study project.
Module 6: Case based project
The aim of this module is for the student to conduct an in-depth, longitudinal analysis and intervention plan of a real-world case subject that aims to support their health and performance. Students should demonstrate a comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of sports nutrition that corresponds to some of the core learning outcomes covered in the previous five modules. Students should demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based practice by planning, implementing, and reflecting on their intervention plan.
